On Thursday June 9th, following the closing ceremony of the Eighth Annual Conference, participants will have an opportunity to attend field visits organized by some of Sanabel’s largest members in Jordan: Jordan Micro Credit Company (Tamweelcom), Microfund For Women (MFW) and National Microfinance Bank – Watani (NMB).

The field visits will be divided into 6 groups of participants:

1. One group of participants will have an opportunity to visit Tamweelcom’s Head Office and Bayader and Naour branches where they will be able to meet the operations team and get to know how Tamweelcom operates and exchange experiences with its employees;
2. Another group of participants will have an opportunity to visit three of Tamweelcom’s clients at their business locations in Abdoun, Marj Al Hamam and Naour areas (i.e. fashion designer, beauty salon and wood and candle crafts);
3. The third group will be hosted by NMB at the Head Office in Amman as well as NMB branch in Salt governance, where the group will be briefed on the operations, work processes and product mix;
4. The fourth group will visit 3 - 4 of NMB’s microentrepreneurs in Salt Governance, each having different types of businesses (i.e. artistic paint, household cleaning products, agriculture/plantation project, and restaurant business);
5. The fifth group will visit MFW’s Head Office in Amman in addition to the Bayader and Jabal Hussein branches where they will meet with the employees and learn from their experiences;
6. The sixth group will meet with three of MFW’s female borrowers engaged in different projects and products (i.e.broderie, handicaps center, and market bazar).

Registration for the field visits will take place during the first two days of the conference. All conference participants interested in registering for the field visits will need to pay USD 20 / person in cash as a deposit to secure a place in one of the field visits. The deposit will be returned to the participants following the completion of the field visits. In case of no-shows, Sanabel maintains the right to keep the full deposit amount.
